Vector Portraits by Andrew Bush

I stumbled upon Andrew Bush's art collection at Eurantica, a temporary exposition in Brussels, Belgium. He calls them vector portraits, but really they are "Photographs made while traveling 50 to 70 mph in Los Angeles and other parts of the Southwestern United States". They were made between 1989 and 1997, feature typical Californians in typical cars of the time. It's art that speaks volumes, especially to our inquisitive motoring minds, as we try and connect with the drivers, their cars, and the time period. I urge you to hit the jump for the entire collection, all 66 pictures, with individual commentary. Vector Collection
